Headed off to college, but feeling a little uncertain of your writing skills? Do you feel like you might be an okay reader but aren't great at reading with purpose? Whether you're looking to maintain the skills you had in high school, or you are looking to grow as a writer and/or reader, this virtual course is for you. We will be focusing on dissecting a writing prompt, reading short stories, articles, and scholarly articles with purpose and synthesizing the information from the reading into strong essays.
