This 180 course was developed by the Maine State Board of Nursing to prepare students for a career in health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant. The course consists of 90 hours in the classroom, 20 hours of lab practice and 70 hours of clinical work in skilled nursing and long-term care.
The class will meet Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (classroom and lab time). Clinicals are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
All CNA candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.

TABE reading test and interviews date and time to be determined.
