WHAT DO WE OFFER?
ADULT BASIC EDUCATION AND ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
If you need help with basic reading, writing and speaking skills, this program is for you. Tutoring and classes are free.
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA PROGRAM
Academic classes and individualized programs offer an opportunity for adults who have not completed high school to earn their diploma.
G.E.D. PROGRAM
The test of General Educational Development (GED) is another way for you to earn your high school diploma. If you want to go on to a university or technical college or need a diploma for your job, the GED may be the option for you. We offer instruction to prepare for the test and pre-testing to ensure that you are ready for the test. Gorham Adult Education is an official test site for the G.E.D. exam.

CORE COLLEGE TRANSITION PROGRAM
CORE (COllege REadiness) is new to Gorham Adult Education this year. It is designed to help adults in the community make the transition to college. The program includes counseling, classes to ensure that you have the right skills to be successful in college, career development and support to apply for college. The ever-changing workplace requires education for workers to upgrade skills and knowledge. Various classes are offered to help you meet these demands.
